Why not fly over the forest of Saoû and its surprising perched synclinal, or go to observe the flight of the vultures with the Tourist Office of the Baronnies?
Cultural Activities
History has deposited its treasures in strata on the region: Pont du Gard and Roman vestiges of Vaison and Orange, Romanesque churches, Popes’ Palace of Avignon, and of course the very close castle of Grignan. More recently, in the 19th century, the silk trade brought prosperity to the Rhone Valley and Valréas was enriched by the invention of the cardboard with holes to carry the silkworms! The silk museum in Taulignan presents original silk processing machines, still in operation.
